Peter, Paul and Mary – Moving – Sounds Very Good

What is Puff (the Magic Dragon) about? A boy and his dragon or something else? Buy the album and decide for yourself!

I listened to the album just before I listed it, (I always do. I never buy vinyl at a garage sale, list it, and hope for the best) It sounded very good almost excellent.. However, it may sound differently on your equipment. I use either a DENON DP-29J or a Vintage Marantz TT 2200 turntable. These are connected to a Rotel RA -412 Integrated Amplifier (which has two phono inputs)

I am not sure how you grade a record without listening to it!

The grading for a record is ultimately an opinion. I do try to be objective. My personal criteria for grading vinyl are:

Near Mint: On playing the record no clicks or pops

Excellent: Only clicks and pops between tracks and none in the tracks

Very Good: A few clicks and pops in the tracks, but it does not impact the enjoyment of the album

I mostly, with a few exceptions for rarities, only sell very good, and above, vinyl.

I pack the albums for postage in recycled materials to reduce the environmental impact of the transaction. If you have any concerns as to how the records are packed, please contact me.
